I need to make more arts, I really do. With FC coming, though, I have my hands full.
I realise I have not displayed any drawing or painting on here yet. I need to fix that, as I'm an hyperactive doodler. Doodler!

FC is short for Further Convention. Some of my good DA/CCDB friends will attend, and it will be epic and fun and shit. I already have my plane ticket, my passeport is being made... I only need to finish my "CATS, the musical" costumes! I need a wig for my Etcetera, and I'm slowly putting together a Victoria.

But that aside, is there any type of face painting / makeup people would like to see?
I guess I'm being watched mostly by CATS fans, so let me know what character you wish to see makeup done for. ^^

Hey all and my friends who watch me on DA ^^
The summer is coming quick, and I've been pretty inactive on here, except for when I update my stuff. I'm terribly pleased to receive comments despite my not always answering to them. They make me happy, and I'm a lazy piece of crap, I feel sorry!

I have just added tons of new crap, as well as OLD crap to my DA page that I still enjoy. My pirate stuff and all.

Also, as an answer to CS's journal question, here are 20 random, useless facts about my person!

-Is 5’ tall and wears women size 5 shoes.
-Therefore, she mostly buys shoes in children’s stores.
-Is a clown. She really is, balloon twisting and that jazz!

I just posted two shots that my sister took for her photography class. I am in love with how they turned out. She really is very talented, I can't say it enough. I need to find a clever way to thank her somehow.

The shoot was pin-up inspired. I really enjoyd the style, I think I want to do more in the future if possible. With even more rockabilly-like hair. I'll grow my straight fringe back and let the rest grow longer as well, I think. I really love those pin-up models hairdos and "rockin rolls".

Also I'm a dump slice of pie. Because of me a lot of the photos were lost during the transfer to the computer, so my sister went to class with nothing to show off. Way to go, bravo me.

Ahhh I am so excited. I'm buried under work though so I'll make this short and sweet, so I can go back to my ancient greek litterature...

With Halloween coming up I need to manage finding some free time. I have been working on the same CATS costume for oh three years. And I always say "It's gonna get done for the upcoming Halloween", then I get lazy and not do it. Peuh. This time is the good one.

My mother is kind and is making me my warmers. I comissionned the main piece, the unitard, from the amazing CATS artist Roxanne. I made the tail myself, and I'll be making the wig in time with some luck. Otherwise I'll revamp the old fur one and it'll do the job for now. I always liked that piece of white fur.

Also, I'll attend a huge party that has a "Sexy" thematic. I'll go as a Bunny and I found the sexiest black dress for it. I'll sew the white pom pom tail to it. I have a very neat set of bunny ears already, from Wal-Mart, but they look so much like the satin ears the playmates actually use. I still need to make the white cuffs and collar. I'll try to take retro sexy pictures of it. It should look funny. =3

Also, God help me, I have that 50Cent song "In da club" stuck in my head. D;

Even though I am not really browsing the site as much as I'd love to since I suscribed, I do check my account quickly now and then. And today I had a nice surprise, Tangerine-Tickle has featured my work on the "Tricks of the Trad" page!

I take this as a huge compliment, but it also makes me feel bad about my lack of activity here. I don't comment much when I do browse but some times I find very inspiring work I should comment. Artists here need to be encouraged, it makes us all feel so much better.

Also, for all sorts of reasons, I only ever seem to post the work I do on my own face. And I do work on hundreds of faces per year! The problem is these are mainly children and I never really take pictures of my face painting at gigs where the line of kids waiting is frigging huge. And when I do paint friends faces I never take "professionnal" pictures (read: I never have my sister around to take them). So I only feel as if what I do on my own face and get shot by my sister is worth showing off.

I'll try to change this as soon as I have a chance though. I have a huge gig to attend in November and I'll try to snap shots of cute little girls looking like pink cats and butterflies, and cute little boys looking like Spiderman. =3
